Sìolachadh

Sìolachadh is a collection of tapes recorded on residency at Cove park with Cryptic, February 2020. By combining elements of Scottish traditional music (such as the use of particular modes and drones) with electronica, these works were intended as a further experiment in 'Celtic Acid' following on from Psalter (2020). This series was produced through a combination of field recording, synthesis and the use of environmental sensors plugged into a modular synthesizer enabling the instruments to musically respond to place, space, and time
